We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Civil Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, analysing, and overseeing the construction of various structures, ensuring they are safe, sustainable, and built to the highest standards. This role requires a strong foundation in engineering principles, as well as proficiency in relevant software tools.

• Supporting the planning, design, and implementation of infrastructure projects
• Site Surveys: Conducting site surveys and collecting relevant data to assist in project planning
• Drafting and Reviewing: Creating and reviewing technical drawings and blueprints using CAD software
• Cost Estimation: Assisting in the preparation of project cost estimates
• Project Monitoring: Monitoring project progress and maintaining project documentation
• Compliance: Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
• Quality Control: Performing quality control and quality assurance inspections
• Reporting: Preparing and presenting reports to stakeholders
• Technical Support: Providing technical support to engineers, including structural, civil, and water resource engineers

Experience

• Degree in civil engineering technology or a related field
• Hands-on experience in the field is highly valued
• Ability to create and modify technical drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software
