Job summary

A leading technology company in the UK seeks a System Test Engineer to lead verification and validation activities for the L-Band Centre of Excellence. Qualifications

• Experience in integration & block testing of incremental software & hardware releases.
• Experience authoring test documentation.
• Excellent debugging, failure analysis, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Understanding of EMI/EMC and their measurement methods.
• Experience with regulatory compliance testing.
• Proficiency with Python scripting for test equipment control.
• Prior experience with satellite or wireless communication terminals.
• Experience with RF and electronics test equipment.
• Experience running field and/or customer trials.

Responsibilities

• Lead the verification and validation lifecycle for products developed.
• Lead the integration testing of new products under development.
• Write and execute test plans, procedures, and reports.
• Work closely with the development team to refine test strategies.
• Manage and coordinate test activities executed by third-party labs.
• Complete Root Cause Analysis investigations.
• Provide training and technical support to team members.
