Job description

In line with our redeployment policy, we’ll prioritise applications from employees who are under formal notice of redundancy.

We're looking for a Facilities Co‑ordinator with the skills to keep Packwood House in tiptop condition and running smoothly for all the people who visit and love the place.

For this role, you’ll need to complete our online assessment instead of using a C.V. or online application form. This will help us understand more about your strengths and give you more information on the role.

What it's like to work here

This captivating 16th‑century Tudor manor house is renowned for its fine collection of textiles and elegant gardens. The team is focused on conservation projects, as well as providing an exceptional family‑friendly visitor experience. The new café serves a delicious selection of produce grown in Packwood’s kitchen garden. Packwood House is part of a trio of properties alongside Baddesley Clinton and Charlecote Park, so collaborative working between staff and volunteers is encouraged.

As the Facilities Co‑ordinator, you’ll be making sure that Packwood House operates as it should, by running an efficient, effective and flexible facilities service. You’ll help the property team to meet their goals by keeping standards high. You’ll be helping with maintenance and repairs (reactive, as well as planned and preventative), cleaning and caretaking, the presentation of public areas and visitor facilities (including car parks and grounds), preparing meeting rooms and co‑ordinating deliveries and collections.

You can view the full role profile for this role in the attached document. You don’t need to have all of the knowledge, skills and experience listed; this is just to provide a full picture of what’s possible in this role.
