A prominent law firm in Bristol seeks a Junior Costs Draftsperson to enhance its Costs team. This role involves providing diverse support in costs litigation, assisting with court documentation, preparing claims, and collaborating across various teams. We are creating a new role to support our Costs Lawyers and CostsSolicitors in assisting Partners and Associates in all mattersrelating to costs. Our current process includes a combination of onededicated Senior Costs Lawyer, one Costs Lawyer and one Solicitorspecialising in costs, with some outsourced provision.
We are looking for a Junior Costs Draftsperson to join our expanding,busy litigation practice. Litigation is at the heart of RPC'sbusiness, and we know it inside out. At any one time more than half ofour lawyers are handling complex large scale global disputes. Withover 300 litigation lawyers to call upon, our team is capable ofhandling the most complex cases in any type of dispute.
We are looking for another dedicated member of the Costs team toassist in helping to bolster our in-house capability. This is anexciting time of growth for the team and is a great opportunity tosupport and assist within the specialist and ever-developing area ofcosts litigation.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work across anumber of teams, with Partners, Associates and Paralegals deliveringcosts services. The work will be varied, interesting and challengingwith the opportunity to work on a wide range of matters, with valuesranging from tens of thousands of pounds to multi millions. Theunderlying work types include commercial disputes, professionalnegligence, medical claims, and property damage. In addition, you canexpect to:
