Job summary

A leading event technology company in Greater London seeks a Lighting Technical Lead. This role involves rigging and supporting lighting systems on various sites, specifying and booking equipment for events, and troubleshooting technical issues. The ideal candidate should have 2-3+ years of lighting experience, knowledge of DMX systems, and ability to work at height. The position may involve both office work and onsite duties, requiring compliance with safety guidelines. A passion for customer service and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• 2-3+ years of lighting experience is required.
• Safe and compliant fixture rigging.
• Sufficient knowledge of DMX and simple network systems.
• Appropriate knowledge of production power.
• Experience working at height.
• Ability to read and understand industry standard lighting plans/plots.
• Basic understanding of rigging and rigging best practices.
• Required compliance of all health and safety guideline.

Responsibilities

• Be competent/comfortable in operation of at least 1 console family out of Avolites, ETC Eos or MA.
• Capable of basic fixture maintenance/repairs.
• Some experience in using CAD design software such as Vectorworks, Capture, Wysiwyg or autocad.
• Experience in working in teams and on their own onsite.
• Demonstrates advanced operational ability to troubleshoot and problem solve with equipment and software issues.
