Salary: Competitive | 37.5 hours per week | 1 in 6 weekends on call
We are looking for an inspiring and forward-thinking Regional Clinical Manager to help shape the future of clinical excellence across our East of England homes. If you’re passionate about delivering safe, effective and person-centred care and you thrive on supporting others to do the same this is a role where you can truly make a difference.
You’ll work closely with operational leaders to strengthen clinical practice, embed robust governance, and champion a culture of continuous improvement, compassion and accountability. Your leadership will ensure our teams deliver dementia-informed, high-quality care that meets and exceeds CQC KLOEs and professional standards.
Providing visible, supportive and inspirational clinical leadership across homes in Peterborough, Cambridge and Kings Lynn areas.
Coaching and developing Home Managers and Clinical Care Managers to lead confident, competent and compassionate clinical teams.
Identifying opportunities for improvement and excellence, escalating risks appropriately and sharing learning across the region.
Leading and supporting clinical audits, governance activity and action planning to ensure improvements are embedded and sustained.
Supporting recruitment, induction and ongoing development of clinical leaders, helping individuals reach their full potential.
Acting as a role model for Athena’s values, behaviours and professional standards.
A genuine passion for care and a commitment to putting residents first.
NMC registration as a Nurse.
Experience in a senior clinical role within care homes (desirable).
Strong audit and quality management experience.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to empower, motivate and support teams.
A proven track record of effective leadership.
