A leading company in quantum computing is seeking a Research Scientist for their quantum algorithms team in London or Cambridge. The role involves designing novel quantum algorithms, developing techniques to reduce algorithmic overheads, and contributing to resource estimation under hardware constraints. Candidates should have a PhD in a relevant field and a strong research background.
We are seeking a Research Scientist for our quantum algorithms teamin London or Cambridge, UK.
In this role, you will contribute to the design of novel quantumalgorithms and to the development of techniques aimed at reducingalgorithmic overheads for execution on Quantinuum’s hardware. You willalso be responsible for estimating end-to-end resource requirementsunder realistic hardware constraints. This research includes thedevelopment of new techniques and quantum computational models aimed atreducing circuit depth and making quantum circuits shallower, as well asthe scalable co-design of algorithms with our hardware, including earlyfault-tolerant protocols and error correction or detectionprimitives.
