A leading agricultural service provider in Dorchester is seeking proactive individuals for the role of Apprentice Service Technician. This position offers the chance to receive top-notch training through an accredited apprenticeship program with dedicated mentorship. Responsibilities include assisting technicians, maintaining equipment, and participating in service training. Hours: Monday – Friday – 8am – 5pm – 40 hours per week

Our business is experiencing an exciting period of growth. As a result, we are looking for proactive Apprentice Service Technicians to join our Agricultural department. The successful candidates will be people who are genuinely interested inlearning to service and maintain agricultural machinery.
You will receive the highest calibre of training through our John Deere accredited apprenticeship program which takes a total of 3.5 years to complete. During this time, you will be shadowing a dedicated and experienced mentor who will help to enhance your learning of the trade.
Throughout the training, you will attend block training for two weeks at a time at the dedicated John Deere training centre in Nottingham. There are 4x two week blocks during the year and you will attend with the other apprentices across the company who started at the same time.
At the end of the course, you will be aiming to qualify as a Level 3 Land Based Service Engineering Technician which is a fantastic achievement and one that will help to set you up for the rest of your career as fully qualified Service Technician with Hunt Forest Group.
