Qualifications

• Full Registration with the GMC with a licence to practice.
• Completed a minimum of 12 years' medical work since obtaining a primary medical qualification.
• Approved under Section 12(2) of the Mental Health Act 1983.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the engagement, assessment, diagnosis, and formulation of patients referred to the EIP.
• Work effectively with the multidisciplinary community team and in-patient teams.
• Promote the safety and well-being of patients.

Skills

High level of clinical skills

Good teaching skills

Able to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team

Proven competence in diagnosis and management of psychiatric disorders

Education

MBBS or equivalent

MRCPsych or equivalent qualification

Postgraduate qualifications in a relevant field
