Job summary

A leading residential childcare provider in Shrewsbury is searching for compassionate Residential Support Workers to provide care and support to children and young people aged 8-18. No experience is required as you will receive comprehensive training, including qualifications support. The role involves working shifts across a 39-hour week, ensuring a nurturing environment for children facing emotional and behavioral challenges. Our Children’s Homes in Shrewsbury are looking for a number of Residential Support Workers to join their team and be part of something special.

With help from your manager and a team of passionate Support Workers you will be working alongside children and young people in residential settings who need a kind, caring and fun place to live despite the challenges they may bring.

Our young people are between 8-18 years old who display emotional, behavioural difficulties. This is why we are looking for motivated, determined and resilient staff who are flexible and able to adapt to challenging situations.

When you join us you will be working to a rota working 39 hours per week which will be completed as shifts including long days and sleep-ins.

Qualifications & Experience

Qualifications and experience are always welcome but aren’t necessary to join us as a Residential Support Worker.
