Job summary

A leading accountancy firm in Greater London is seeking an Audit professional with an ACA/ACCA qualification. You will be responsible for delivering accurate audits, supervising junior staff, and collaborating with senior leadership. The ideal candidate will have a degree and a solid understanding of UK and international auditing standards. This role emphasizes career development and supports professional growth through mentorship and a collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

  • Must hold ACA, ACCA, ICAS qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience in a supervisory role is required.
  • Understanding of financial reporting requirements is necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver accurate and reliable audits to stakeholders.
  • Supervise junior staff and provide coaching.
  • Collaborate with Senior Managers and Directors.

Skills

We deliver audits which are trusted and transparent which can be relied upon by companies and their stakeholders. You’ll be someone who is comfortable working pro-actively and, managing your own tasks, as well as confident collaborating with others and communicating regularly with Senior Managers, Directors, and BDO’s Partners. You’ll help deliver accurate and transparent reporting to all relevant stakeholders as you provide long term value. You’ll be someone with:* ACA/ACCA/ICAS qualification or overseas equivalent.* Educated up to degree level or CTS.* Experience supervising and coaching junior members of staff on site.* Working knowledge of UK and International GAAS, IFRS, UK GAAP and Financial Reporting requirements.* Working knowledge of firm services, issues regarding advice, and regulation and compliance, including anti-money laundering.* Demonstrable knowledge of current economic and market trends.You’ll be able to be yourself; we’ll recognise and value you for who you are and celebrate and reward your contributions to our business.
