The candidate will participate in delivering the echo service with the cardiology department. The individual will work alongside a team of seven BSE echocardiographers, two trainees, three imaging consultants, and the wider cardiac physiology team to perform transthoracic echocardiograms and assist with stress and transoesophageal echocardiograms. As a teaching hospital, the post holder will support trainee echocardiographers to achieve BSE accreditation. The echo service operates 8am–6pm on weekdays and provides inpatient/outpatient weekend service. A flexible working pattern will be considered.
