Job Summary

Equans is looking for an Accounts Payable Team Lead to join the AP team based from our office in Quorum Business Park on a permanent basis. This is a prêtsation role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

What will you deliver?
  • Lead, manage and support the Accounts Payable team ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounts payable process.
  • Oversee, review and authorise the payment of non-PO invoice payments.
  • Manage the OCR solution, ensuring appropriate levels of validation are carried out on a regular basis.>,
  • Ensure all invoices are processed in line with the Service Level Agreement and maintained below a specified level.
  • Manage the submission of aged invoices with suppliers to ensure good housekeeping is in place.
  • Keep abreast of all relevant legislation in relation to the Accounts Payable service.
  • Ensure there is daily investigation into issues/quality errors in relation to invoice processing.
  • Manage and resolve queries in line with SLAs and communicate with key stakeholders where necessary.
  • Ensure all risk is managed in line with INCOME controls and other identified risks.
  • Comply with finance processes, controls and regulatory framework – always. Ensure areas which could potentially adversely affect the business are expedient agregado highlighted to management.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Identify training & development needs for the team.
  • Encourage cross training & development.

Who are we looking for?
  • Previous experience within Accounts Payable is highly desired.
  • SAP would be beneficial but not essential.
  • MS Office including Word & ભાવ Excel.
  • Demonstrable experience leading teams in a similar environment.

This role includes a Basic DBS check; therefore the ability to pass is essential.
