Job summary

A leading legal services provider in the UK is seeking a Senior Costs Lawyer to manage a caseload of Defendant and/or Claimant cost files. The role requires experience in the insurance sector, excellent negotiation skills, and advocacy experience. As a Costs Lawyer, you will liaise with clients and manage costs case management duties. Qualifications

• A qualified Costs Lawyer, Solicitor, or equivalent.
• Experience in the insurance sector including Road Traffic Accident; Employment and Public Liability; Industrial Disease and Clinical Medical Negligence.
• Excellent negotiation skills and advocacy experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage a costs case load of Defendant and/or Claimant cost files.
• Drafting points of dispute and replies to costs claims.
• Negotiate on cost offers and advise on claims for costs.
