This is an exciting opportunity to join our expanding procurement team and support our ambitious operational procurement transformation plan.
Working within a busy, forward thinking and progressive department, you will provide procurement support to our stakeholders ensuring best practice Procurement and value for money.
The role can be based in Swindon, Bath or Salisbury but there is travel to the all three locations on an ad-hoc basis.
Procurement support: this will include the processing of ad-hoc requisition requests to meet stakeholder requirements.
You will have excellent communication and analytical abilities, a keen eye for detail and accurate data entry skills. It will be important that you have the ability to manage your time effectively and be able to meet set deadlines.
Reporting directly to the Transactional Procurement Manager you will be an integral part of the operational team, supporting the wider Procurement team, and you will have the ability to work on your own initiative when required.
Experience of working within a procurement environment is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
