Job summary

A leading consultancy firm is seeking a Senior Software Engineer specialized in C#/.NET to support projects in the financial sector. This hybrid role requires at least 5 years of experience and involves building scalable applications within a talented engineering team. Candidates should have hands-on experience with cloud platforms and microservice architecture. The position is based in Brighton and requires in-office attendance three days per week.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years’ experience building global enterprise level systems.
• Knowledge of financial markets or a strong desire to learn.
• Proven hands-on experience designing and developing enterprise applications using C#/.Net Core, .NET 8 or higher.
• Experience developing distributed systems using Microservice architecture (event-based).
• Experience with containerization and working on cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle working within Agile methodology.
• Write well designed, testable, efficient code.
• Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications.
• Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies.
