Purpose of Role
We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Project Manager to deliver the final stages of time critical projects. The successful candidate will take full ownership of planning, coordinating, and delivering all phases of the projects, working closely with internal stakeholders, contractors, and suppliers.
This is a practical role requiring strong organisation, commercial awareness, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams concurrently.

Duties
- Develop and manage an end-to-end project plan covering all phases of work
- Coordinate site works, machinery moves, installations, and recommissioning
- Agree and manage realistic timescales across all workstreams
- Ensure all works meet agreed specifications, quality standards, and compliance requirements
- Manage risks, issues, and dependencies proactively
- Provide regular progress updates to stakeholders and senior management
- Ensure project delivery within agreed budget and timeframe
Main Deliverables in Role
- Detailed project plans outlining objectives, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Accurate budget reports, financial forecasts, and cost analysis documents.
- Regular progress reports, status updates, and presentations for stakeholders and management.
- Risk assessment reports and mitigation strategies.
- Successful project completion within specified timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Person Specification
Knowledge and Experience
- Deep understanding of Engineer-to-Order (ETO) principles and processes.
- Proven experience in complex commercial project management, with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget, within an ETO setting desirable.
- Demonstrable proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Microsoft Project, with excellent working knowledge of Excel.
- Knowledge of relevant industry regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Familiarity with the challenges and opportunities specific to start-up environments is advantageous but not essential.
- Experience in managing client expectations and relationships; skilled in stakeholder communication and engagement.
- Experience in identifying, analysing, and mitigating project risks.

Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction, Project Management, Finance, or related fields is desirable.
- Member of the Association of Project Management (APM) Associate or above.
