Monster Group is looking for a Product Compliance Specialist to join our team. You will play a vital role in ensuring our diverse e-commerce portfolio meets all UK and EU requirements, working at the intersection of supply chain, product development, and global marketplaces.

The Role

Sitting at the heart of our operations, you will manage compliance for our expanding online retail range. You’ll be the go-to expert for ensuring our products are safe, legal, and ready for the global market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Regulatory Oversight: Ensure products comply with UK/EU legislation, including GPSR, UKCA/CE marking, EMC, LVD, RoHS, and REACH.
  • Technical Documentation: Create and maintain Technical Files and Declarations of Conformity.
  • Quality Assurance: Review supplier test reports and determine requirements for additional testing or documentation.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Buying, Product, and Operations teams to embed compliance early in the product lifecycle.
  • Stakeholder Liaison: Work with suppliers to verify documentation and support seamless onboarding.
  • Market Monitoring: Stay ahead of regulatory updates and respond to inquiries from authorities or marketplaces.
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience: Proven background in product compliance, safety, quality assurance, or a related regulatory field.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with UKCA/CE marking and technical file management.
  • Communication: Ability to communicate complex regulatory requirements clearly to internal teams and external suppliers.
  • Precision: Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Logistics: As we are based in a modern office near York, own transport is essential.
Why Join Monster Group?

Our Benefits Package:
  • Health & Wellbeing: Private Medical Cover (AXA), Mental Health First Aiders, and Life Assurance.
  • Flexibility: 37.5-hour week with flexible start/finish times (8:00 AM – 9:30 AM start).
  • Time Off: 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays, plus "Service Days" and a Birthday Lie-in.
  • Culture: "The Moscars" (our excellence awards), Monthly Wheel of Fortune, and seasonal social events.
  • Support: Enhanced family leave, Bike to Work scheme, and long-term income protection.
  • Office Perks: Free parking, unlimited tea/coffee/treats, and a "Dress for your Day" professional code.
