A leading aerospace firm in Kidderminster seeks a Senior Propulsion Engineer to lead the performance analysis of Rocket Motor products. Candidates should have a degree in a relevant discipline, with at least 5 years of numerical modelling experience. This role includes engaging with customers and team members to ensure optimal performance and design. The position offers a hybrid working model and a comprehensive benefits package, including a success-sharing bonus scheme and occupational sick pay.

Roxel is an Anglo-French Company that designs, develops and manufactures a range of solid propellant rocket motors for use in tactical missiles. Its operations are spread across several sites in the UK and France and it has an annual turnover of about £250M and nearly 1000 staff, with 300 in the UK.
The UK operations are entirely based at Summerfield, Kidderminster where we now have a requirement for a Senior Propulsion Engineer.
The successful candidate will be the performance technical authority for several Rocket Motor products. Specific areas of work will initially include internal ballistics which is used to predict, verify and analyse the performance of Rocket Motors. There is potential to expand into other areas of numerical simulation such as computational fluid dynamics, thermal and stress analysis of Rocket Motor propellant charges and structures.
