Job summary

A fast-growing engineering firm in the UK is seeking a skilled technician for on-site technical installations and equipment coordination. Responsibilities include performing installations for various equipment, managing site agents, and maintaining health and safety standards. The ideal candidate should have an NVQ Level 3 in Electrical/Mechanical fields, several years of experience on construction sites, and effective communication skills. Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience on construction sites.
  • Familiarity with LEV systems is an advantage.
  • Ability to review Risk Assessments is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Perform on-site technical engineering installations across the UK for all types of RVT equipment.
  • Coordinate with and guide site agents on equipment usage.
  • Ensure a high standard of health and safety awareness on site.

Skills

Proficient in IT skills
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Strong problem-solving skills

Education

NVQ Level 3 in Electrical and/or Mechanical fields
Maths C England Level 2 qualification

Tools

Certificates BOHS P600 / P601
Health and Safety Certification (e.g., IOSH/SSSTS)
Certifications in IPAF/PASMA/Confined Space
