As a General Assistant for Sodexo at Kings School Rochester, you will contribute towards the smooth running of a fast‑paced food and beverage operation. You will be responsible for showcasing what the kitchen supplies, presenting it in the most eye‑catching way possible, and ensuring we offer the best service possible.

What you’ll do:

• Assist with the day to day running of the Catering Department within various on‑site locations.
• Assist with the running of the schools Mobile Catering Horsebox on and off site.
• Ensuring all hospitality requirements are prepared, delivered to and collected from the required location.
• Working both Front and Back of House as required.
• Assist in maintaining an efficient Kitchen Management Record System in line with company policies.
• Health and Safety Compliance.
• Food Safety Compliance.
• Assist with deliveries in line with company policies.
• Ensuring all areas within the catering departments control are clean, hygienic and tidy at all times.
• Ensuring the safety and security of company and client property.
• Reporting of all complaints and compliments to line Manager.
• Reporting of all incidents of accidents, fire, theft, loss, damage, unfit food or other irregularities to line Manager, taking appropriate action where needed.
• Complete all the mandatory required training in line with company policies.

What you bring:

• Basic food handling skills are preferred, however not essential.
• Ability to spend up to eight hours a day working while standing
