Pay

£28,000 - £33,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Install solar panels and associated equipment on rooftops, ground mounts, or other designated locations according to project specifications.
• Use hand tools and power tools to assemble mounting systems, electrical components, and wiring connections.
• Conduct mechanical tasks securing structural components for system stability.
• Perform electrical connections following industry standards and safety regulations.
• Conduct quality checks throughout the installation process to ensure compliance with technical standards and safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely within designated timeframes.

Requirements

• Proven experience with hand tools, power tools, and mechanical assembly is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of electrical systems related to solar installations or general electrical experience is preferred.
• Mechanical knowledge relevant to structural assembly and system integration is beneficial.
• Strong understanding of safety procedures related to construction and electrical work.
• Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail during installation processes.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift heavy equipment when necessary.
• Ability to occasionally work on projects further afield throughout England and Wales.
• Valid UK driving licence is preferred; willingness to travel between sites as required.
