Job summary

A leading care organization in England is seeking a Deputy Care Home Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure high-quality care for residents. The ideal candidate will have a Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care and significant experience in a management capacity within a registered service. Responsibilities include staff training, monitoring residents' needs, and managing care protocols. This role offers a salary of £34,125 - £36,270 per annum along with various employee benefits including a company pension and discounted gym memberships.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years experience in a management role within a registered service.
  • Strong understanding of CQC Registration Regulations and Care Acts.
  • Ability to run daily operations under the General Manager's direction.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor nutritional and hydration needs of residents.
  • Conduct staff training and deliver hands-on care when needed.
  • Create and manage risk assessments.
  • Communicate with management regarding events in their absence.
  • Act as a role model and supervise staff performance.

Skills

Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care
Knowledge of the Heath and Social Care Act 2009
Information technology skills
People leadership skills
Budget management experience
