Finance Systems Analyst page is loaded## Finance Systems Analystlocations: Glasgowtime type: Full timeposted on: Gestern ausgeschriebenjob requisition id: JR19089We're the global leader in providing energy solutions that help businesses grow and communities thrive.We work as a team and we’re proud of the difference we make to customers, to local communities, and towards a sustainable future for the world.We’re looking for a Financial Systems Analyst based in Glasgow to support our core financial platforms, ensuring data accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement.* Generous benefits package (including but not limited to pension plan, bonus scheme, and Life Assurance)* Generous holiday entitlement, with option to ‘buy’ or ‘sell’* A focus on continued personal development* Paid time off work for volunteering in the community* Access to our Employee Assistance Programme, which helps promote and support a healthy lifestyle**What you’ll do:*** As part of the IT function you will work alongside a team of systems analysts dedicated to the support and lifecycle management of our core financial systems; M3 CloudSuite, Basware, and Tagetik.* Manage incidents and progress customer requests in line with Service Levels, following ITIL best practice* Investigate problems, implementing permanent solutions to recurring issues and suboptimal workarounds, with a focus on automation and AI integration* Adhere to change management and security protocols to protect the production environment and maintain compliance.* Work closely with finance users to identify and implement system improvements, ensuring services remain aligned with business priorities* Provide technical support and expertise to system users, and maintain documentation, training materials, and best practices* Ensure financial systems comply with financial regulations and reporting standards**You’ll have the following skills and experience:*** Understanding of accountancy concepts and processes either from study or with experience in a finance role is essential* Degree qualification desirable; preferably with coverage of accountancy and / or IT* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills* Excellent communication skills* Experience working in customer-focused environments and managing stakeholder expectations* Ability to identify recurring issues and drive change to meet reduction targets* Experience with process automation tooling preferred but not essential* Experience working in an IT Service desk or similar role would be advantageous**Find out more and apply now.**Bring your energy.
