Job summary

A leading educational institution in Birmingham seeks a Student Wellbeing Advisor to provide vital support to students facing various challenges. The ideal candidate will manage a caseload, conduct online and in-person sessions, and maintain detailed records. Qualifications

  • Experience working with young adults and knowledge of common challenges.
  • Understanding of the role of Student Wellbeing services in higher education.
  • Comfort in liaising with internal colleagues and external agencies.

Responsibilities

  • Provide pastoral support to students facing mental health and financial issues.
  • Manage a caseload and conduct online and face-to-face sessions.
  • Maintain accurate records compliant with data protection regulations.
  • Assess and escalate student cases as necessary, collaborating with teams.
  • Inform students about available support services and contribute to workshops.
