The role

We're looking for talented and experienced Planning Engineers (Primavera P6 essential) to join our growing SSEN Transmission Business Planning Directorate – a team at the forefront of the UK’s clean energy transition.

As part of SSEN Transmission, you’ll play a key role in planning and delivering the infrastructure that connects renewable energy from the North of Scotland, its islands, and offshore, helping the UK move closer to a Net Zero future.

You will

• Plan projects within Transmission, including producing and managing programmes.
• Provide planning support across the earlier phase of the project lifecycle using Primavera P6.
• Produce and maintain client perspective programmes that support the project work processes, milestones and deadlines.
• Liaise with project teams, contractors, delivery teams and commercial teams throughout the project lifecycle to effectively report on project progress.
• Provide reporting and feedback to project and business group management that are appropriate to the project needs and the client requirements.

You have

• Strong experience in using Primavera P6 on Large Capital Projects.
• Working knowledge of Standard Microsoft 365 Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint and PowerBI.
• Demonstrable ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• A can-do attitude focused on contributing to a positive working environment.
