Overview

Dalkeith Country Park is a 1,000-acre destination with history, walks, wellness, shopping, food and adventure, just a few miles from Edinburgh. Whether in search of adventure, play, thrills, food, shopping or restoration, there is something for all.

The role? As a Chef de Partie, you will play a key role in creating unforgettable moments, whether our guests join us for a relaxed lunch, a coffee and cake break, or a once-in-a-lifetime wedding celebration. You will bring creativity and technical flair to your section, delivering dishes to a high standard while keeping your workspace spotless and meeting all food safety requirements. With a vibrant 100-seat restaurant and a further 80 outdoor covers, you will play a key role in bringing our menus to life in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver dishes to a high standard while keeping the workstation spotless and meeting all food safety requirements.
  • Bring creativity and technical flair to your section and help bring our menus to life in a fast-paced environment (100-seat restaurant and 80 outdoor covers).
  • Support other team members as needed to ensure smooth service and exceptional guest experiences, including during weddings or other events.
Person specification / Qualifications
  • Experience running one or more sections in a similar role.

  • Valid food hygiene certificate and understanding of HACCP principles.
