Job description

16,000 patient list – 1,828 patients per whole time GP (8 Sessions)

If you’re a GP who still cares deeply about patients but is feeling worn down by the pressures of modern general practice, we see you and we might be the Practice you’ve been hoping exists.

Do you wish to work:

In a friendly, motivated team where your contribution is genuinely appreciated?

Work in a culture were asking for help is normal, not whispered?

Sensible workloads shaped by reality, not wishful thinking?

Problems anticipated early, not discovered when everyone’s exhausted?

A good work life balance is important to you?

Wish to concentrate on clinical rather than administrative duties?

Pride yourself on providing quality, safe and responsive care but struggle with today’s pressures?

Want a sustainable career, not an heroic short story? - we look after each other, because burnt-out doctors don’t deliver great care and don’t stay

Want to do something to achieve your aims – then look at our offer – you could be the person for us!

Check out our Patient feedback:

A truly multi-disciplinary in-house team of Doctors, ANPs, Prescribing Nurses, Clinical Pharmacists, MSK FCPs, Social Prescribers, Care Coordinators, Health and Wellbeing Coaches, Welfare Counsellors; along with many other in-house services such as, MH/CPN services and our Specialist Neighbourhood Nursing team. All have same day bookable appointments for you to use ensuring your time is spent with the right patients via 15 minute, telephone and face to face appointments providing 24 patient contacts per day.

All patient contacts are triaged by experienced clinicians using AccuRx to ensure patients are directed to the most appropriate specialist.

Protected time daily to meet as a team for coffee/opportunity to discuss cases with colleagues.

Do you find administration a necessary evil that takes too much of your time and not why you chose medicine? Then our team of workflow administrators, referral secretaries, Clinical Pharmacists, Pharmacy Techs and many others are here to assist, ensuring you only manage the absolute minimum of workflow and medicine management tasks daily – usually no more than 5-7 letters daily.

Tired the daily battle from the lack of integration between NHS systems? Then let our Managing (non-clinical) Partner take that pressure for you!

Do you feel your voice is not heard/unable to contribute ideas in a meaningful way? High staff numbers at every level with highly developed protocols and pathways makes the working day manageable. Not afraid of change we focus on quality of service and a happy team – always.
