Working Hours: 6:30 – 9:00 am, Monday – Friday (12.5 hours per week). Some flexibility on arrangement possible.

Responsibilities

• Unlocking the school premises and ensuring the building and site are safe each day
• Ensuring cleaning and hygiene supplies are well stocked
• Completing a range of weekly, monthly and quarterly health and safety checks, with accurate record keeping
• Carrying out minor and general maintenance tasks around the site
• Liaising with contract cleaners and completing some cleaning responsibilities
• Undertaking basic grounds maintenance, including weeding and leaf collection
• Supporting with deep cleaning tasks during school holidays (e.g. window cleaning, carpet washing)
• Managing bin and recycling collections
• Adhering to health and safety procedures and safe working practices at all times

Desired Qualifications & Competencies

Desirable knowledge of Health and Safety, Legionella awareness, working at height training and Asbestos awareness.
