Job summary

A healthcare organization in England is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to deliver compassionate medical care to patients in a transitional setting. The ideal candidate will have a current nursing license and a minimum of one year of relevant experience. Responsibilities include conducting medical screenings and providing emergency treatment. Candidates should have Basic Life Support certification, and fluency in Spanish is desired. This position does not offer sponsorship for work permits.

Qualifications

• Current, full, active and unrestricted license as a practical or vocational nurse.
• Minimum one-year current experience in Med Surg/Long Term Care/Psychiatric Mental Health/Primary Care.
• Current, valid American Heart Association certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).

Responsibilities

• Provide medical screening for new arrivals.
• Conduct comprehensive screening and sick call.
• Administer 24-hour emergency medical and mental health treatment.
• Offer women’s medical care and additional EMS services.
