This is a newly created post to work within the Derby City Locality.
The CAMHS NMPs work as part of the medical team, with strong links the CAMHS Recovery teams and CAMHS Medics.
You will be working alongside the areas Consultant Psychiatrists and Trainee Advanced Clinical Practitioner, along with the wider NMP team within CAMHS.
The Derby City team is a multi disciplinary team, has a strong team ethos and works from Temple House base, where there are a variety of CAMHS teams.
You will work as an independent prescriber, working within their scope of practise, being supported to develop this as needed.
To act as a role model to provide high standards of professionalism representing Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust in the exercise of their duties.

You will contribute to decision making of the CAMHS Service Line, participating in a range of meetings and forums requiring accountability for service delivery.
You will be the budget holder for the Team. Be responsible for holding and monitoring the budget and for the procurement and maintenance of physical assets and supplies for the service.
You will contribute to the setting of the budget for the service, working alongside the Finance Manager.
To be accountable for the team’s budget and attend finance meetings, justifying team expenditure.
Working in partnership with other professional leads to ensure that the service area is able to meet its performance and quality targets.
Will assist in services transformational change to encompass the need for change within the service. These will be highlighted by NHS England, NHS 10 Year plan and CCGs.
As an employer and sponsor licence holder, to be able to provide sponsorship to overseas nationals via the Skilled Worker route we must ensure that we adhere to the sponsorship requirements set by UK Visa’s and Immigration. Please note that as the current salary threshold is £25,000 it is unlikely we will be able to offer sponsorship for this post as without 2 years previous NHS Service at Band 3 you will commence at the bottom of the pay band which currently does not meet the minimum salary requirement for sponsorship (bank and agency service is excluded). This would apply to anyone who has current time limited right to work in the UK and would require sponsorship in the near future commencing at the bottom of the band.
