Job summary

A growing engineering firm in the United Kingdom is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to oversee industrial projects. The successful candidate will work closely with project managers on progress claims and should have a degree in Quantity Surveying or Electrical Engineering, along with at least 5 years’ experience in the E&I contracting world. Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in the E&I contracting industry.
• Strong knowledge of FIDIC or ICE contract standards.
• Proficient in preparing construction measures.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with project managers on monthly progress applications.
• Monitor progress on site and submit claims for recovery of loss.
• Compile monthly commercial reports for project leadership.
