Overview

Sirona Medical are looking to recruit several Decontamination Technicians for a new contract in Scotland.

The successful Decontamination Technician will be responsible for the cleaning and sterilising of the Endoscopy equipment and provide a high standard of professionalism as part of the clinical team within our Endoscopy contract in Scotland.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sterilise Endoscopy equipment to a high standard.
• Assemble and disassemble Endoscopy equipment as required.
• Ensure work is carried out to deadlines and within agreed working practices and procedures (e.g., Health & Safety, hygiene, delivery of instruments to point of use).
• Maintain a clean and disinfected working environment.
• Liaise with internal customers to ensure all service requirements are met.
• Maintain stock levels in line with department requirements.
• Dispose of all decontaminated waste in accordance with statutory and PGH’s policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate records in accordance with statutory and PGH’s policies and procedures.
• Experience in both the Endoscopy rooms and Recovery Rooms.

Qualifications / Experience

• Experience in Cantel Rapid air is essential.
• Experience in both assembling and disassembling Endoscopy equipment.
