A bakery company in Gloucester seeks a passionate individual to join their friendly team as a Baker. Responsibilities include producing high-quality baked goods, maintaining a clean workspace, and assisting with stock management. Previous experience in a bakery is a plus, but training will be offered to ensure quality and standards are met. This full-time position offers a chance to grow within a supportive environment where your ideas are valued.
Full time hours are 38.75 hours per week, 5 days out of 7 which includes weekend working, start times will be from 0530.
Know your Victoria sponge from your fruit cake? Our bakers are responsible for producing our exceptional range of biscuits, traybakes and cakes sold in our farmshops and kitchens. You will make sure we can delight our customers by achieving a high standard of food quality and presentation; in line with company standards and that adequate quantities are produced to fulfil the requirements of the business.
As a Baker based in our production kitchen at Rheged you will be baking products from recipes in big batches to supply the other areas of our business. The range will include tray‑bakes, biscuits, cookies, muffins and bread products, all using the best ingredients with no preservatives. As our bakery grows there will be opportunities to develop your career at Westmorland and we will always value your ideas for improvements and new recipes and bakes.
Previous experience working in a bakery or food production environment would be an advantage but full training will be given.
