Specsavers in Blackburn are looking to grow their team and are looking for a new Dispensing Optician to join the Dispensing Opticians to support. You will be working with a great wider team also and the focus is to give patients the best experience.
As our new Dispensing Optician, you will be running a specialist clinic at Specsavers Blackburn. You will predominantly look after concerns, so if a patient is struggling with their sight you will support them with this.
The team are very social and love to get out together, most recently the team have been out go karting, crystal maze experience and meditation, as well as celebrating Eid and having a book club. There is also fresh fruit delivered regularly and food available if you've forgotten your lunch as well as a lounge with a TV and staff room for quieter breaks. Most importantly… there's a coffee machine for you to enjoy those Latte's!

We do need you to have a few skills to get started in this role. Firstly, you’ll need a BSc (HONS) in Ophthalmic Dispensing and an excellent understanding of both the optics and audiology customer journeys. You must have excellent listening and communication skills, be passionate about providing top-notch customer service, and be a great team worker.
