A leading hospitality company located at Principality Stadium in Cardiff is seeking a New Business & Special Events Manager to lead non-match day event sales. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in event sales or business development, with skills in communication and negotiation. You will develop sales strategies, secure new business opportunities, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure exceptional event delivery. This is a unique opportunity: from corporate conferences and exhibitions to private celebrations and special events, you’ll be at the heart of creating exceptional experiences that showcase the versatility and prestige of the venue.

Your day
  • Develop and deliver a sales strategy for non‑matchday events, ensuring revenue targets are met
  • Proactively identify and_NON secure new business opportunities through market research, networking and strategic partnerships
  • Create compelling proposals and bespoke packages tailored to client needs, ensuring profitability and operational excellence
  • Host site visits, attend trade shows and represent Principality Stadium at industry events to build strong relationships and elevate our brand

  • Maintain accurate records, forecast pipelines and report on key performance metrics
