Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is seeking Cleaning Operatives in Swindon to work in a clean, regulated pharmaceutical environment. The role requires following strict cleaning and gowning procedures while supporting daily manufacturing activities. Candidates should have GCSE Maths and English or equivalent skills. Attention to detail and the ability to perform repetitive tasks are essential, along with the willingness to lift materials and stand for extended periods. Shifts are Monday to Friday with competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Experience in a regulated environment (pharma, food, automotive, cosmetics, engineering).
• Manufacturing experience is helpful but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Follow gowning and cleaning procedures for controlled areas.
• Prepare cleaning materials and clean equipment/areas as per SOPs.
• Move and handle materials safely into classified areas.
• Keep production areas stocked and check expiry dates.
• Operate airlocks and support autoclave/part washer loading once trained.
• Carry out packaging, labelling, and weight checks.
• Report any issues or non‑conformances.
• Complete documentation accurately.
• Once qualified, carry out environmental monitoring tasks.

Location: Swindon
Pay: £13.28 per hour
Shifts: Monday-Friday (Early: 07:00-15:00 / Late: 14:45-22:45)

We are looking for Cleaning Operatives to work in a clean, regulated pharmaceutical environment. You will support daily manufacturing activities, follow strict procedures, and help maintain a safe, clean, and compliant workspace.
