A leading logistics company is seeking an Assistant Management Accountant for an 18-month FTC in Chippenham. In this hybrid role, you will produce accurate management accounts, support budgeting and forecasting, and ensure strong balance sheet control. The ideal candidate has experience with management accounting and a continuous improvement mindset. Qualifications

• Experience in preparing accounting packs including variance analysis.
• Strong skills in managing stakeholders and collaborating with Finance Business Partners.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Solid knowledge of accounting principles and transaction treatment.
• Track record of identifying opportunities for quality or efficiency improvements.

Responsibilities

• Produce monthly Support Function Management Accounts with variance analysis.
• Reconcile Support Function balance sheet accounts and resolve queries.
• Support Budget and Forecast cycles with timely updates and quality submissions.
• Review overhead spend and provide data insights for decisions.
• Deliver ad-hoc accounting support and escalate issues as needed.
