A logistics company in Worcester is seeking a dedicated Driver responsible for ensuring all goods are delivered safely and on time. Qualifications

• Must possess a full UK driving licence.
• Knowledge of HGV drivers rules and regulations is essential.
• Current fork truck certificate is needed.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that the load is correct against customer’s orders.
• Check goods off with customer and ensure a signature.
• Handle customer issues on delivery and contact Transport Office.
• Carry out multi-drop deliveries in a timely manner.
• Drive the vehicle safely and in accordance with the law.
• Maintain cleanliness of the cab and report any defects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure that the load is correct against customer’s orders
• Check goods off with customer and ensure a signature and print
• Handle customers issues on delivery and contact Transport Office if required
• Carry out multi-drop deliveries in a timely and safe manner
• Drive the vehicle safely and in accordance with the law
• Look after the vehicle and ensure that it is not subjected to unnecessary damage
• Maintain the cleanliness of the cab
• Ensure accidents are kept to a minimum
• Report any accidents as soon as possible and in compliance to companies accident reporting procedures
• Complete vehicle daily inspection and report any defects to Manager
• Attend essential training to carry out the driving role
• To provide support in warehouse if required by the Transport Manager
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures

• Loading and unloading of product from the vehicle
• Opening and closing of vehicle curtains/doors, Moving product by hand around warehouse
