Job summary

A leading aerospace company in the United Kingdom is seeking a skilled individual to manage technical programmes within the Systems Safety & Systems Engineering team. Your role will involve translating high-level goals into actionable deliverables, monitoring progress against milestones, and ensuring cross-functional coordination. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering projects, great communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. This position offers benefits, including 26 days of holiday and a performance-based bonus.

Qualifications

  • Experience managing technical programmes or complex engineering projects in aerospace or a similar high-tech industry.
  • Strong understanding of systems engineering, safety, and configuration management.
  • Confidence working with multidisciplinary teams and resolving issues.

Responsibilities

  • Translate programme milestones into detailed aircraft-level deliverables.
  • Monitor progress against key milestones and manage dependencies.
  • Coordinate cross-functional inputs to ensure deliverables are consistent.
  • Maintain reporting to senior leadership on progress and support needed.
