• Qualified to degree level, or equivalent qualification, or able to demonstrate significant level of graduate calibre experience at a senior level in a relevant sector.
• Knowledge and understanding of assurance and corporate governance and risk management.
• Knowledge and working experience of inspections and/or audit processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead on the co-ordination of the HMICFRS inspectorate programme for the Service.
• Oversee the annual internal audit programme Service wide.
• Support the Service's approach to Risk Management.
