Job summary

A luxury elderly care provider in Eastbourne seeks a Food and Beverage Team Member to support dining services and assist residents with their meals. The ideal candidate will demonstrate high standards of personal hygiene and possess compassion for delivering culinary services. Experience in a restaurant or hotel setting is beneficial, along with a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate. This role also requires a DBS Disclosure check and proof of eligibility to work in the UK.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Your focus as a Food and Beverage Team Member will be to support with the dining service and assisting residents with their meals.

Other responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the residents with choosing their meal options at the time of dining.
• Ensuring that dining tables are set in accordance with the standard operating procedures.
• Keeping front of house clean, tidy and well-presented, and that dirty crockery is removed and replenished throughout the day.
• Ensuring fresh homemade cakes/biscuits are accessible in the bistro areas are replenished throughout the day as well as finger food and fresh fruit options.
• Being aware of resident’s dietary requirements.
