The Opportunity

We are seeking Sterilisation Technicians to join our CSSD Team at Lake Macquarie Private Hospital. Multiple permanent full-time roles available. This role will see you working as a member of the Sterilising Services team to provide timely sterile products, trays and equipment for our busy theatre department. This is a critical part of the surgical process and the ability to work efficiently within a small team and manage pressing deadlines is crucial.

Responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with minimum requirements for equipment care, handling and re-processing.
• Maintain your competency standards in all sterilisation and decontamination processes.
• Adhere to sterilisation standards and relevant legislation affecting practice.
• Collaborate with Theatre & other CSSD staff to ensure timely equipment processing.
• Availability to work across a rotating 7-day roster is essential to be considered.

Remuneration

Base hourly rate ranging from $30.24 - $39.45 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (Grade 1 – Grade 4)
