.Senior Civil Engineer, Energy & Industrial page is loaded## Senior Civil Engineer, Energy & Industrialremote type: Hybridlocations: Christchurchtime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todaytime left to apply: End Date: March 16, 2026 (27 days left to apply)job requisition id: R31142**Senior Civil Engineer – Energy & Industrial Projects**We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to lead civil and structural engineering activities across energy and heavy industrial infrastructure projects, including fuel depots, power plants, substations, pipelines, and chemical facilities.**What you’ll do:*** Lead civil and structural design, construction, and asset management activities across energy and industrial projects.* Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams across project planning, detailed design, construction supervision, and quality control.* Engage with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities to define scope, deliverables, and timelines.* Prepare, review, and approve technical reports, design calculations, specifications, and tender documentation.* Ensure engineering work complies with health and safety legislation, codes, standards, and company policies.* Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement.* Support budgeting, resource planning, risk assessment, and business development activities. **What you’ll bring:*** Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred).* Chartered or Chartered Professional Engineer (or equivalent).* Minimum 10 years’ relevant experience in energy and/or industrial infrastructure projects.* Strong knowledge of geotechnical engineering, structural design, drainage, and stormwater management.* Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, STAAD and/or ETABS, and MS Project.* Strong communication, leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.* Willingness to travel to project sites and work in field conditions.
