Job summary

A leading automotive parts distributor in the UK is seeking a Warehouse Operative to manage order picking and packing efficiently. This role requires a fast-paced work ethic, attention to detail, and teamwork skills to support customer service delivery. Responsibilities include checking deliveries, loading vans, and managing stock accuracy. Ideally, candidates should have warehouse experience and knowledge of car parts. The position is on a zero-hour/casual contract with variable hours, including weekends.

Qualifications

• Track record in a fast paced warehouse or similar environment.
• Ability to efficiently handle tasks under pressure.
• Good communication skills essential to coordinate with the team.

Responsibilities

• Check and put away supplier delivered parts.
• Pick and load vans accurately and timely.
• Verify customer returns for resale, warranty or surcharge.
• Check stock quantities against computer records.
