A key municipal department in Glasgow is seeking a Development Management professional to provide expert advice on urban design and heritage. This temporary position focuses on enhancing the Sauchiehall Street district through coordination with stakeholders and project management. The role involves engaging with local businesses, managing development proposals, and contributing to comprehensive design frameworks. Job Description Based within Neighbourhoods, Regeneration and Sustainability and reporting to the Principal Planning Officer, you will be a key member of the City Centre Development Management team providing expert advice and guidance to development management colleagues and others in relation to heritage and urban design. The role focuses on helping to shape development proposals emerging within the Sauchiehall Street district as part of the HLF funded Sauchiehall Street Cultural and Heritage District initiative - part of a 10 year programme to promote and enhance the area\'s unique cultural and built heritage.
Please note interviews are expected to be held w/c 23/2.
