Job summary

A leading healthcare provider based in Glasgow is seeking a talented Paralegal to join their in-house legal department. The ideal candidate will have experience in Scottish Court proceedings and a degree in Law or a Paralegal qualification. Duties include document management, assisting in legal tasks, and drafting reports. Qualifications

  • Experience of Scottish Court proceedings essential.
  • Experience of medical malpractice/personal injury/litigation desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Document management – collating and checking documents, with preparation of files.
  • Assisting with day to day tasks for the in-house Solicitors.
  • Drafting letters and reports to the client.
  • Research tasks and analysis of documents to provide information to the in-house Solicitors.
  • Focus on dispute resolution.

Skills

Flexible and willing to work within a busy team environment
Good communication skills
IT literate, with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel
Highly organised

Education

Minimum of a degree in Law (LLB or equivalent)
