Job summary

A leading retailer based in Rochdale seeks an experienced Engineer to provide ongoing support for Mechanical Handling Equipment. You will perform mechanical and electrical fault diagnosis, undertake preventative maintenance, and engage directly with various manufacturers for optimal machine performance. Candidates should possess ONC/HNC qualifications or equivalent experience, along with solid background in electrical and mechanical systems. Qualifications

• Apprentice trained mechanical or electrical discipline required.
• Fully experienced in both mechanical and electrical fault diagnosis.
• BS:7671 Rev 2011 17th Edition wiring regulations is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for Mechanical Handling Equipment.
• Perform rectification of MHE breakdowns and technical support.
• Undertake preventative maintenance on machines to high standards.
