Overview

HS2, Britain’s new high-speed railway is at peak construction. Balfour Beatty VINCI is HS2’s construction partner in the Midlands, responsible for delivering 90km of the route, from Long Itchington in Warwickshire to the centre of Birmingham and on to Handsacre in Staffordshire.

Now is a great time to join us and be part of a diverse team of nearly 9,000 people from over 80 nationalities working together to deliver major assets including bridges, tunnels and viaducts. Whether onsite or officed based all colleagues have a key part to play in delivering this critical transport infrastructure project.

Location: Based at Fort Dunlop – this location sits on the eastern edge of Birmingham, adjacent to the M6 motorway, providing excellent transport links into the city and across the region. Fort Dunlop serves as a key hub within IPT Area North, supporting operations that span multiple sublots and regional activities. Its strategic position makes it an important point for coordination and access, with proximity to major infrastructure routes ensuring connectivity to both the Central Region and wider project areas.

Role Responsibilities
  • Manage quality assurance of all incoming and produced information, verifying accuracy, compliance, and supply chain adherence to IDP, TIDPs, and MPDTs.
  • Support and use the Project’s Common Data Environment and digital delivery tools to execute tasks and maintain robust information controls.
  • Develop knowledge of the Project’s Common Coding structure and help facilitate the creation and updates of Information Management processes.
  • Assist with research and investigative activities within Information Management to improve practices and standards.
  • Govern data analysis and reporting processes to ensure project-wide Information Management compliance and consistency.
  • Strong IT Skills in Microsoft 365, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • An understanding of working within systems, processes, and procedures.
  • Demonstrate a teamwork and a collaborative approach.
  • Willingness to learn and develop within the Information Management function.
  • Full UK Driving License
