We currently have an opportunity for a caring, enthusiastic and self‑motivated individual to join our team in Stonehaven in Aberdeenshire. Situated in a beautiful seaside town, the area is served well with good road, rail and bus networks and is a lively community of locals and tourists.
In this role you will be supporting a number of individuals ranging from age 18-60+ with a variety of disabilities including autism, learning disabilities, mobility and visual impairment. They are very happy being active in the community, proudly running the Inspire By Stonehaven shop and community garden at St James Church, growing vegetables and flowers. They enjoy activities out and about in the community including sporty activities, walking on the beach, swimming, exploring the countryside and attending the day centre. They also hold a coffee morning every week for the general public.
We are recruiting for fun, patient and responsible individuals with previous support work experience to join the team. Some experience of retail work and involvement with activities such as crafting, gardening, baking would be desirable. Staff are also trained in specialist areas such as diabetes, learning disabilities and first aid.
There are 2-3 members of the team working at any one time.
Shift patterns: 9:15 am – 3:45 / 4:45 pm, Monday–Saturday. We are recruiting for Relief staff to join our team.
